 In liquid under normal temperature, good thermal stability, good compatibility in various organic solvents and mineral oil, relative density is 0.881(20℃/20℃), viscosity 1.650×10Pas (20℃), boiling point 131-133℃ (0.2mm/Hg). 

Purpose：
Mainly used as raw materials of cosmetic, also be used as raw materials of lubricant, stabilizing agent and various fat. As it has branched chain, its melting point is lower than stearic acid and it has good performance under low temperature. Its alkali resistance of various fats is strong and can exert its property when used in alkaline emulsification system. The specific features of isomeric acid make it become attractive additive in lubricant field of engine and gear wheel. These features include: acid and derivates have low flow point, good oxidizing stability and hydrolytic stability. Relying on good solubility in various solvents, low viscosity and good lubricating performance in organic solvent, it becomes replacement of acid ion extracting agent.
